MLK Day of Service Bike Delivery 2024

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr and the MLK Day of service we will be hosting a bicycle giveaway for kids, teens and adults on January 17th. These bikes will play an essential role in helping families overcome transportation barriers while connecting them to other resources to grow and thrive in the community.

All bicycle recipients are referred to BBP by partnering nonprofits to ensure we are getting bicycles to the families who need them the most. All bicycles being distributed are donated community members and completely refurbished by volunteers. Bikes will be fixed and ready to go facilitating an easy delivery experience for volunteers. Each bike will include new lights, a lock and a helmet. Volunteers will be trained to provide a brief and social-distanced safety lesson as well as provide additional information about BBP's services to keep the families rolling.
